Ho­no­ra­ry doc­tor Londa Schie­bin­ger from Stan­ford Uni­ver­si­ty will lead the work­shop that ex­plo­res how gen­der ana­ly­sis may be ap­pli­ca­ble to shaping re­se­arch ques­ti­ons in ma­ri­ne re­se­arch and tech­no­lo­gy.

• Can we har­ness the crea­ti­ve power of sex & gen­der ana­ly­sis for dis­co­ve­ry and in­no­va­ti­on?
• Can we add a new di­men­si­on to our re­se­arch and guide it in new di­rec­tions by con­side­ring gen­der?
