Für alle Eng­li­sch­mo­du­le ist ein Ein­stu­fungs­test er­for­der­lich.

Die Ein­stu­fungs­tests fin­den on­line statt. Für die Durch­füh­rung be­nö­tigt jede*r Teil­neh­men­de ein in­ter­net­fä­hi­ges Smart­pho­ne, Lap­top oder Ta­blet sowie Kopf­hö­rer. Bitte mel­den Sie sich gemäß den An­wei­sun­gen mit Ihrer Ma­tri­kel­num­mer und vol­lem Namen an und ma­chen Sie den Test in einem Durch­gang. Nach Ab­lauf der vor­ge­ge­be­nen Zeit schlie­ßt sich die Seite au­to­ma­tisch.

Busi­ness English (B1 – C1)
The Busi­ness English mo­du­les are as­ses­sed by a Busi­ness English pre­sen­ta­ti­on. The mo­du­le co­vers busi­ness-spe­ci­fic to­pics: dis­cus­sions and de­ba­tes, pair, group and class work, pre­sen­ta­ti­on prac­ti­ce, etc. You’ll learn to use busi­ness vo­ca­bu­la­ry ap­pro­pria­te­ly and apply busi­ness theo­ries to given si­tua­ti­ons and case stu­dies.

Tech­ni­cal English (B2/C1)

The Tech­ni­cal English mo­du­le co­vers spe­ci­fic en­gi­nee­ring and I.T.-based vo­ca­bu­la­ry and struc­tu­res to give you the con­fi­dence to work in an in­ter­na­tio­nal en­vi­ron­ment. This is as­ses­sed by an in­di­vi­du­al pre­sen­tai­on.

Fa­cul­ty-spe­ci­fic English (e.g. English for Civil En­gi­neers, English for Far­ming, Pro­fes­sio­nal Wri­ting for Pu­blic Re­la­ti­ons)
These mo­du­les focus on using English in way that is di­rect­ly re­le­vant to your de­gree pro­gram­me and high­light the im­por­tan­ce of cla­ri­ty of ex­pres­si­on, spe­ci­fic vo­ca­bu­la­ry and the most ap­pro­pria­te gram­mar to use to con­vey your messa­ge.
