Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering / Technical Business Management

The master’s degree in Industrial Engineering is enabling graduates to take on managerial tasks in organisations that are strongly oriented in the fields of science and engineering. After graduation, students can work in any of the following sectors: mechanical engineering, medical technology, shipbuilding, electrical engineering or technical trade.

Through a close practical relevance of the lectures, the degree prepares students perfectly for their professional lives. Whether they work in sales, controlling, logistics or production, our graduates act at the interface of technical and economic areas.

Students are continuously be put into the position of finding theoretically and methodically profound solutions to new and complex problems. Through scientific qualification which accompanies it, we ensure the chances of promotion.

In addition to the practical qualities, learned in the bachelor’s degree, we offer our students future- and practice-oriented expertise. In interdisciplinary courses, we deepen the business knowledge that students also use in various group projects. At the UAS Kiel, students learn in small groups. Only 20 students are admitted every semester, which enables optimum personal support by our teachers.
