Master’s degree in Information Systems Online
Since the winter semester 2014/15, the Faculty of Business Management of the Kiel University of Applied Sciences has offered the continuing education online master’s degree in Business Information Systems with free admission.
In this online degree, contents are prepared via multimedia and offered via the Internet. Therefore, you can work flexibly with regard to time and location to achieve your master’s degree.
The study focuses on preparing people personally and professionally to take on a leadership position in a company. Basic business knowledge and experiences in information systems are mandatory.
Graduates are qualified to expand their application-oriented knowledge of economic and computer science theories and models independently. Methods, social and personal competencies are intensified while acquiring a wide competency of professional skills.
The UAS Kiel offers this online master’s degree as a member of the university association VFH (virtual universities of applied sciences) in a close cooperation with the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Wolfsburg.
Students of both universities form common cohorts that are mainly supervised online (web conferences, forums, mail) by the professors. Once every semester, there is a physical-presence lecture at one of the two locations (Kiel, Wolfsburg).
The study degree takes four semesters and you receive 90 credit points.
The technical and organisational support of the study degree is provided by the Oncampus GmbH, a subsidiary of the University of Applied Sciences Lübeck.
