Eu­rope­an Pro­ject Se­mes­ter EPS

EPS is a pro­ject based ‘cour­se’. The in­iti­al part of the Kiel-EPS cour­se is cent­red around a se­ri­es of se­mi­nars and tu­to­ri­als co­ver­ing hard and soft skills, sub­ject/pro­ject spe­ci­fics and lan­guage skills and needs. Les­sons are a mix of clas­sic style to the more in­ter­ac­ti­ve (i.e. dis­cus­sive) to the prac­ti­cal (inc. work­shops). Se­mi­nars and tu­to­ri­als, of the above con­tent, and par­ti­cu­lar­ly con­cer­ning the pro­ject, also take place du­ring the pro­ject part of the se­mes­ter.

The pro­ject teams are put to­ge­ther be­fo­re stu­dents ar­ri­ve in Kiel. Team mem­ber al­lo­ca­ti­on is based on home study, pro­ject in­te­rests, na­tio­na­li­ty, per­so­na­li­ty and oc­cu­pa­tio­nal ana­ly­sis.

Each team is pro­vi­ded with a stu­dent, aca­de­mic and busi­ness (part­ner) coach. All lec­tu­res, su­per­vi­si­on and group work are in English.
