Kiel University of Applied Sciences participates in the nationwide Cooperative Graduate Survey Project "KOAB" conducted by the higher education research institute ISTAT-Kassel. The current survey is being conducted for the 2023 examination cohort.

The surveys are carried out by graduation cohort, meaning they are conducted separately for each examination or graduation cohort approximately 1.5 years after graduation. This ensures that the results across different cohorts are comparable, as the time interval between graduation and the survey remains consistent.
