Welcome to our Summer School! 

Moin, we are looking forward to offering our first Summer School in summer 2025.

The motto is “Creating Sustainable Futures - An Interdisciplinary Summer School”.

The interdisciplinary approach will allow us to explore and discuss the major topics of sustainability and future planning through different disciplines (media, engineering, economics and languages) and thus create an interesting picture.

Come on board and experience Germany and Kiel during the most beautiful season of the year! Our Summer School is aimed at students from all fields of study and offers insights into a wide range of faculties with interdisciplinary modules.

The duration of the Summer School can be chosen individually.

Option A: The focus here is on Kiel and Kiel University of Applied Sciences. Gain insights into the various faculties and selected modules and get to know Kiel at the best time. Excursions are offered throughout the Summer School so that not only Kiel but also the surrounding area can be explored. It starts and ends in Kiel.

Option B: Includes Option A, with a weekend trip to Berlin. Get to know not only Kiel and Kiel University of Applied Sciences, but also experience Berlin, the colorful capital of Germany with a cultural excursion in which you can marvel at the most famous sights. This option starts in Kiel and ends in Berlin.

For both options, students receive 3 credit points.

Price

Partner Universities Option A: 850€ | Partner Universities Option B: 850€ plus an additional 280€

Non Partner Universities Option A: 1.150€ | Non Partner Universities Option B: 1.150€ plus the additional 280€

(For Option A the price includes the participation in the Summer School, public transportation in Kiel, accommodation and excursions incl. admissions.

For Option B the price includes the participation in the Summer School, public transportation throughout Germany, accommodation and excursions incl. admissions.)
