As part of the Edu+Career project at Kiel UAS, we offer international students customised support on their journey from the start of their studies to their first job.

The project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), which is creating a platform and an opportunity to optimise the student life cycle of international students at German universities with the ‘FIT - Promotion of International Talent for Integration into Studies and the Labour Market’ programme, thus strengthening the recruitment of international specialists for the German labour market. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as part of the DAAD's International Experts Campus Initiative.
The Edu+Career project supports targeted measures that not only ensure the academic success of international students, but also facilitate their transition to working life in Germany.
This includes the establishment of an internal university career service and the development of cooperative networks between universities and companies as well as the partnership programme "Your Home Abroad" for social inclusion.
Our goals for the project period from 2024 to 2028 include

• Ensuring the academic success of our international students
• Improving labour market integration and career entry opportunities
• Establishing and maintaining transition structures and networks between universities and industry

We support our students with a comprehensive range of workshops, networking events and direct counselling.
