Acquisition of the State Recognition through the MSA Module in BASA online
The legal basis for the acquisition of the state recognition in Schleswig-Holstein is the decree of the MfBWK from the 23.11.2021, here section III, §§11ff.
State recognition is granted when the studies of BASA online and the optional MSA module of the BASA online have been completed successfully.
The MSA module consists of practical and practice-related parts and is studied in the 5th and 6th semester.
1. The practical parts alongside studies can be credited as practical parts if certain conditions are met:
- presentation of a training plan, possibly completion of work shadowing in a public authority
- appointment of a supervisor in the training institution
- approval of the competent authority (state examinations committee) to recognise the training institution and the educational plan
- presentation of two assessments from the supervisor (usually after the 5th and the 6th semesters)
2. The practice-related part of the module consists of lectures with a length of 6 SWS (weekly semester hours):
- 4 SWS practice reflection/supervision in the 5th and 6th semesters (approx. 1 date a month of 6 hours); in total 8 participations are mandatory; according to group online or physically present
- 2 SWS parallel course in the 5th or 6th semester (participation mandatory, according to event, participation online or physically present)
3. The module examination consists of:
- an interim report
- a final report
- a final oral colloquium (30 minutes).
The reports and the colloquium are assessed with passed/failed.
