Dr. Tanja Pütz is a professor of education in childhood at the Department of Social Work and Health.

She is responsible for the modules World Approaches/Educational Areas, Development and Design of Pedagogical Action in Specific Fields of Action, Pedagogical and Sociological Foundations of Childhood Pedagogy, Family: A Multidisciplinary Introduction, Inclusion/Exclusion: A Multidisciplinary Introduction, and Specific Methods of Social Work: Creativity and Media Pedagogy.

  • Professor of Education and Training in Childhood at the Kiel University of Applied Sciences
  • previously worked as a junior professor of childhood education and general didactics with a focus on progressive education at Alanus University and at the Karlsruhe University of Education as a substitute professor for the elementary and primary school sector, as well as at the Technical University of Dortmund as a research assistant
  • For many years, she has been working as a freelance trainer for educators and teachers throughout Germany in the field of “Rethinking Education” and as a consultant for schools and daycare centers.
