Project MAUS – mobile autonomous underwater system
Two connected AUVs will be developed for different purposes within a joint project of universities and industry. The AUVs can mutually communicate and act in a coordinated way within the group.
Here you can find more information about the MAUS project.
UFOTriNet project:
The aim of this joint project is to develop an automated detection platform for shoals of fish. The testing network consists of stationary and mobile underwater fish observatories which should be able to observe the variety and density of fish populations automatically and continually. Equipped with low-light cameras and a sonar the platform recognises the fish species without disturbing them.
The UFO project is an innovative technology within the marine biology research.
