Prof Dr Aßmuth has been Professor of IT Security at Kiel University of Applied Sciences since September 2024. Prior to that, he was Professor of Computer Networks and Mathematics at the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden for almost 13 years. At the Faculty of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, he teaches the modules Applied Cryptanalysis, Digital Forensics, Introduction to IT Security, Communication Systems and Cryptography.
