Master’s degree in Business Management Online
Since 2014, the Faculty of Business Management of the Kiel University of Applied Sciences has offered a supplementary educational, online master’s degree in Business Management with free admission.
In this online degree, contents are prepared via multimedia and offered via the Internet. Therefore, you can work flexibly with regard to time and location to achieve your master’s degree.
The degree is focused on preparing people personally and professionally to take on a leadership position in a company. Basic business knowledge and experience are mandatory.
The study consists of a general part and some elective advanced/specialisation topics which deal with special requirements needed in leading positions of particular industries and functional business sectors. Students can choose their advanced/specialisation topics individually and learn more about the professional sectors they would like to work in.
Graduates are qualified to expand their knowledge of economic theories and models independently. Methods, social and personal competencies are intensified while acquiring a wide range of competence and professional skills.
The UAS Kiel offers this online master’s degree as a member of the university association VFH (virtual universities of applied sciences) in a close cooperation with the partner universities Jade University of Applied Sciences in Wilhelmshaven and the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Wolfsburg.
Students of the three universities form common cohorts that are mainly supervised online (web conferences, forums, mail) by the professors. Once every semester, there is a physical- presence lecture at one of the three locations (Kiel, Wilhelmshaven, Wolfsburg).
The study takes four semesters and you receive 90 credit points.
The curriculum contains five elective specialisations additionally to the general teaching subjects.
The technical and organisational support of the degree is provided by the Oncampus GmbH, a subsidiary of the University of Applied Sciences Lübeck.
