- commitment for professional interests of the members (e.g. classification in public service)

- news about the Faculty of Agriculture in the newsletter
- support during the study courses at the Faculty of Agriculture through the Förderverein
- committing to the interests of the members who belong to a respective organization (VDL) in cooperation with the state
