International
Both in the bachelor’s and in the master’s courses you can take a semester abroad. The credit points acquired abroad can be acknowledged at our university. It is also possible to do internships, projects or write your thesis abroad.
We want to present two offers that are especially interesting for IVE students here:
EPS European Project Semester
One way to fit a stay abroad into your six-semester bachelor’s is the European Project Semester.
Information about the European Project Semester
The presentations and links lead to detailed brochures about the EPS.
Important characteristics of EPS:
- can be recognised as a company project and thesis.
- can often be promoted by scholarships.
- EPS is only useful at the end of the study term – at least if you want to recognise your bachelor’s thesis.
The EPS is not an emergency solution to obtain a bachelor’s thesis as easy as possible; on the contrary it is designed for our best students.
This also means that ALL courses of the 4th semester must be completed, as for all theses. If you haven’t completed one subject from the previous semesters and can a) explain to me why, b) and tell me how you are planning to achieve it until your semester abroad, please send me an email (Rainer Geisler).
If you are interested in an participation at EPS, please read the FAQ. There, you will find all information about the participation requirements and the application modalities.
