If you're out and about on campus, you'll probably notice several construction sites. A new library complex is being built at the northern end of the University of Applied Sciences, and behind the day-care centre, the civil engineering programme is getting new laboratories. Further information can be found here.
The lost property office of Kiel University of Applied Sciences is located in the mailroom in the central administration building (C01). That’s the place where you can hand in things you have found yourself or look for things you have lost.
Opening hours of the lost property office:
Mon. – Thurs. 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Don't feel like carrying your sports bag around all day or prefer to lock up your laptop when you're not using it? There are lockers next to the central library! There are also some lockers for your belongings in the basement of the large lecture hall building behind the diner (provided by the Studentenwerk (Students’ Service Authority)).
You have to give friends or family a tour of the campus and don't know what to show them? At the lower end of the road Schwentinestraße you’ll find the lab hall of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, where there’s always something exciting to discover in the display window. For example, a pink VW Beetle restored by the female engineers of the faculty.
You'll discover art everywhere on campus. The installations in front of or attached to buildings are particularly striking. Or maybe you're even sitting on a piece of art: the blue thinking benches can be found all over campus. By scanning the QR code, you get access to a work of art. In the Bunker-D building itself you’ll find temporary exhibitions on various topics that change on a monthly basis. Weekly cinema screenings of unmissable films can be enjoyed in the small Bunker cinema. Feel free to drop by.
Feel like doing some sports alongside your studies? You can choose from the wide range of activities on offer at the University of Applied Sciences.
