The end of studies is approaching and the quest-ion of “What happens next?” is moving to the fore The Central Student Advisory Service offers students advice and organises events relating to career planning in collaboration with various cooperation partners.
Questions about the current local and interregional and national labour markets, career entry and change options, application standards and strategies as well as further professional training (in German) are answered by Marc Denk, consultant for academic careers at the Kiel Employment Agency, in person on Thursdays from 13:00 to 15:00 hrs during the lecture period at the Kiel University of Applied Sciences in the large lecture hall building C02.0.50.

In the Interdisciplinary Weeks the employment agency regularly offers events on the topics of job searches, application training/assessment centres, salary negotiations and company visits.
The association has set itself the task of strengthening and promoting women in working life as well as quantitatively and qualitatively improving women's opportunities in the labour market.

Graduates of the bachelor’s in social work and bachelor’s in childhood education can acquire state recognition at the Kiel University of Applied Sciences in a one-year further training program. State recognition enables professional access to certain fields of work and is associated with special rights and, in some cases, higher remuneration claims.
