Part-time studies

If there is an important reason, it is currently possible to study the Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work as a part-time degree.

The application must be submitted at enrolment. Already enrolled students can apply for a part-time degree during the re-registration period, i.e. for the summer semester until the 31st December and for the winter semester until the 30th June.

It is necessary to add a justification to the application. Important reasons are e.g. employment, childcare, caring for a relative, disability or sickness, participation in the AStA or at another student bodys.

The application for part-time studies can be accessed via the study service in "Casy" after enrolling at Kiel University of Applied Sciences.
