Guest studies
Guest students and visiting students also need the approval of the Dean’s Office of the concerned faculty. The approval must not cause any disadvantages for regular students of Kiel University of Applied Sciences.
Application forms for guest or visiting studies need to be submitted in written form by 15. 01. (summer term) and 15. 07. (winter term) to the Student Registration Office. The requested certificates need to be presented along with the application form.
Guest students
Guest students who wish to attend courses are requested to file an application and meet the following conditions:
- at least a diploma from secondary school or
- a certificate that confirms the successful graduation from the 10th grade level at a German secondary school
- a comparable qualification
Guest students are not able to take exams. They do not receive student status at campus and nor do they have to pay semester fees. A fee of 10 euros has to be paid at enrollment.
Recognised Student Status
As visiting students, people who are enrolled at other universities can attend courses and take study-related exams. It is necessary to file an application beforehand.
Exams, presentations or other tests can be submitted from the home university (no final examinations). Study fees are not collected. A fee of 10 euros has to be paid at enrollment. The application is effective for one semester.
After the application has been approved, please submit the completed application for enrollment and the fee of currently 10 EURO to us.
