Your future with a degree in Naval Architecture and Maritime Technology
Shipbuilding engineers or naval architects work in all branches of the shipbuilding industry which produces river and sea vessels of various types and sizes. They develop new ship types and shapes, construct the individual ship parts, test ship models, plan and monitor production and assembly and, if necessary, carry out conversion and repair work. In addition, cost calculation and sales activities may be part of their area of responsibilities.

"During my time at Kiel University of Applied Sciences, I was given the tools for my future career path. In addition to the content of the course, there were many exciting projects. The professional expertise of the lecturers, some of whom have worked in the large shipyards in Schleswig-Holstein and are happy to pass on their extensive practical knowledge, was also helpful."
